I recently bought a steering wheel and got it reupholstered. I only realised that it has some parts missing from the "base", when I wanted to replace it with my current momo. The parts that are missing are the one where I connect the horn plug, and the one that returns the indicator as I turn the wheel. If you have these parts and willing to sell, please let me know. Pics from renewed steering wheel: The parts that I'm after are marked 45207 and 45184A here: http://www.partsbase.org/toyota/cel...e-dohc-efi-mtm-1985-1987-eu-2-steering-wheel/
I have a complete spare steering assembly I may be able to pull that from. I'm not sure if the ST165 and ST162 share the same components. If not, I have the ST162 sitting in Arizona I may be able to pull that from.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I haven't been able to go into the garage much but I snapped some pics of the spare steering wheel assembly. Let me know if it has the parts you want. Untitled by MP.Hill, on Flickr Untitled by MP.Hill, on Flickr Untitled by MP.Hill, on Flickr
Hm, sadly it looks like the post-facelift steering wheel (yours) has different parts there, not like the pre-facelift one (mine). http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_1987_TOYOTA_CELICA_ST162L-BLMVFG_4504.html?hl=45100 http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_1988_TOYOTA_CELICA_ST165L-BLMVZA_4504.4.html?hl=45180 Thanks for your effort though! So, if anyone has a spare pre-facelift steering wheel for a 3SGE model, or has access to one in a near scrapyard, I would be very thankful for grabbing these parts. I also tried to buy them from the dealership, but they are discontinued.
Ah I see. Well I just so happened to have 4thgenceli's 87 GTS thats about to be scrapped after I salvage some parts from her. I'll see what I can do for you as its 1500 miles away and I have to rely on someone else to take it apart.
He agreed to pull your parts and he'll bring it up with the bucket of other crap at the end of the month. I'll shoot some pictures when I get it to ensure they are what you want.
