the amount of work it would take ot lose maybe 30 lbs isn't worth it to me. And I love my power windows and locks. Just like I love my power sunroof. It makes driving that much more comfortable.
so... no body has done it. the way i see it the more weight the car loses the less weight that i have to lose.. course if i spent as much time cuting my own weight as i do the cars weight... well lets say idd look like i did when i got back from basic. dang... maybe then i wouldnt be so fat... i hate self revelation
also you have to remember how heavy the glass is and how heavy the door is before you consider cutting the thing up.
theirs a guy on alltrac.net who did such a thing to a st165. You have to register and look under the my project forums. He fiberglassed the majority of his panels and got some plastic like material for his windows.
