When I took my axles out, the driver side axle came right out without a fuss. On the passenger side I had to remove a snap ring from where the centre drive shaft connects to the right had drive shaft. Once that was removed, the axle came right out of the tranny without any problem. Hope this helps. -Gabe
if ur having driver side problems id recommend getting some1 else todo the passenger why pull when u can pry hehe
time for a break...the passeneger side is fine...ITs the drivers side that I needed to replace...its just that damn c clip inside there holding it in arrghh.. I was looking thru the BGb and toyota has a special for it..lol like I have access to that..
cut them lol?? I got the shaft out..its just the part thats attached to the tranny that wont budge.,,it moves like 2-3 mm but thats it
bigger prybar....or spin it a little it might just be hung up....or push it out from the other side with a pipe and a big big big big motherhuge hammer
thats a good idea...Well i couldnt do it today...im guessing not enough clearance to get the proper levage to get it out..Just gotta wait till the weekend to get it in on the lift..Then the big toys come out to play.
just pry, rotate, pry, rotate and it will suddenly fly off and almost hit your buddy who's pulling on it while you're prying in the face. worked for me anyways.
today I went to pull on my tranny to drag it over to the new eninge for mounting...and the passenger axle just dropped out. WTF!?!?!?! all the pushing and pulling and twisting and prying...
