When I took my axles out, the driver side axle came right out without a fuss. On the passenger side I had to remove a snap ring from where the centre drive shaft connects to the right had drive shaft. Once that was removed, the axle came right out of the tranny without any problem.

    Hope this helps.

thats a good idea...Well i couldnt do it today...im guessing not enough clearance to get the proper levage to get it out..Just gotta wait till the weekend to get it in on the lift..Then the big toys come out to play.

just pry, rotate, pry, rotate and it will suddenly fly off and almost hit your buddy who's pulling on it while you're prying in the face. worked for me anyways.
