theres a white GTS coupe in the salvage yard near me. But it's missing the center piece of the wing. I could still snag the sides if you want.
Why would someone only take the center piece? If you do snag the side pieces make sure you take the mounting hardware from under there too.
Thanks Monkey, but I'd the whole shabang y'know. It has to be from a coupe IRRC, the HB ones won't fit right. I've been watching the 'yard here locally, but haven't seen ANY 4th gens. Mostly 5ths and one 3rd. :? -K
GT-S trunk emblems are just vinyl decals. But they would look cool on a convert with the GT-S coupe wing.
You're right, forgot about the trunk piece. The vinyl would be stripped off for black paint. I was thinking about a 7th gen gt-s emblem on one side amd re-using my totota celica emblems on the othe side. -K
Thanks for everones input, you guys rock! I know everyone wants to see me turbo the car, but it's just not going to happen. I'm sure I'll be perfectly content with the 3sge and in all honesty. It will make the car much more rare of a car, thus adding value. For those who are interested, I'll keep you up to date on the swap. -K
while a 3sgte will definately give u some thrills and chills, id go with the 3sge motor with header, intake etc just minor mods and you still have a blast and the fuel bill will not ruin all ur fun youd have a sleeper till u get temped to buy the muffler, bodykit etc lol
Just thought I'd throw my two cents in, earlier people were talking about 181k being a lot, I just rolled over 285, spun a bearing, put some 20W50 in and I'm still driving it lol Toyota FTW (Planning on a 1MZ swap =])
