So did I :/ I hope someone who has been running them can comment, but I think the problem can be solved with spacers. I just need to know what size
argh... i just bought a new set of rubbers for the rims and planning on putting it on this weekend... is this maybe because you are running 205/50/16 tires? but this should not be the case since stig and other fellow members are running the same size wheels... man, i hope this works out, or else i'm doomed... and this is what I found googling for info... pretty much the same except the stock rims that came from the factory

CELICA 86-96 14x6 5x100 12x1.5 54.1

CELICA 00-UP 15x6 5x100 12x1.5 54.1

Its not rubbing thats the problem. The center bore of the wheel is too small to fit properly over the wheel hub. I wish Stig or someone with these wheels would comment!!! haha
im confused :scratch nevermind i get it that seems like a big issue someone else with the wheels wuolda mentioned wait for stig. but dident you have a pic of test fit?
Yup and they fit without and rubbing on the shock tower, but the would go all the way on the hub. So I had my dad look at them yesterday to find that the center bore on the wheels is too small to fit the stock hub.
OK so not to make u sound dumb or anything.....but are there already hub-centric rings on the wheels?....... I know mine like to stick to the wheels when I pull mine off. Or someone lied to u and those aren't 7th gen wheels which they damn near look like they are.
as mentioned by nate, either you bought a lookalike set or additional hubcentric (or spigot is the other name) rings are installed on it (just pop them off). i have both the ZZT230 7th gen 15" GT wheels and the ZZT231 7th gen 16" wheels. they mount PERFECTLY on. the center hub bore is 54.1mm and they fit snug on the st162 hub. you can even use the factory st162 lugnuts, which i'm using on my car. my tire sizes for both sets are 195/55/15 and 205/50/16, they both fit with or without spacers. oh and that google info isn't quite right 86-89 GTS 5x100 14x6 54.1 90-93 (with 5s-fe/3s-gte engine) 5x100 14x6 54.1 94-99 (with 5s-fe/3s-gte engine) 5x100 15x7 54.1 00+ (with 1zz engine) 5x100 15x6 54.1 00+ (with 2zz engine) 5x100 16x6.5 54.1 any of these wheels will fit the 5 bolt st162 and all st165's.
If I sound dumb its ok! Its all a learning experience. haha I put them on the rears today and decided to take pics. Heres the fitment on the back. Heres the gap between the wheel and the rear hub And finally the hub of the wheel
clean off (wirebrush/sandpaper the mounting surface on your car (hub/brake rotor). that definitely looks like they're already sitting on the hub but just something is in the middle. preventing it from seating all the way in
The hubs are pretty rusty, so Ill get on that when I can and check them. Burak yours will probably fit without any troubles!
looks pretty darn close... did you try to jiggle it a bit? sometimes even when just trying to change a flat tire, you have to find the "center" of the rims/hub prior to tightening the lugs... and looking at the info, all specs and numbers that entrax posted should eliminate doubts that it does, indeed, fit our car.
Thank you sir! I was a little skeptical of the black on black wheels, but I think they are growing on me
take off the center cap and then put them on....take a pic then THROUGH the wheel....to see if shes hub centric or not. sometimes wheels have nubs on the back of them, its best to take a wire wheel and go to town on the back of the rim's mounting surface
Mine mounted fine and still using stock lugs. I did the bg install today and pretty pleased with the ride even if im just on monroe struts...
