The wiring in my car will baffle many.. Infact I wonder how it manages to continue legal car functions

blinkers lights tails ect... I have a bunch of random plugs in the back of my car yet I know not what they go to!

I'm after "internal" wiring diagrams for all the little doodads... like the door switches... I honestly think the passenger door's stuff has been removed... as well as the electric locks... for.. weight?

Any way I'm stripping it down because I'd like some of those features.. even though I don't plan on having a passenger seat and time soon I'd like to be able to lock/unlock my passenger door without having to insert the key in the door. (yea the lever doesn't wanna work on either door.)

    back to title!

No wiring setup for the stereo exists... all of it was pulled... same for cig lighter (makes me mad cause I wanna charge my mp3 player)

Is there a good place to tap for power? even if it isnt on a relay I dont mind having a "flight switch" with a cover (I have about 8 of them for various... "illegal" reasons)

Friend of mine did this in his turbo passat he set up switches to turn off the rear lights when the front are one (to run from the cops...)

I know its not legal but is it a bad idea (not legal but electrical)

I already have wiring for fog light overrides (fogs work wile high beams are on)

THANKS FOR LOOKING AT MY RANDOM JABBERING!
I'm installing the digital dash and flux capacitor next week... LOL

I'll send you some money to ship the junk I didnt have time to get

like the hood latch cable :p

Thanks Willy! I'm gonna go rooting through Monkey's GT for stereo lead wires to find out what I need to do (if I cant fix it I'll tap the battery and install a switch for it.)
We're also swapping my rusted to hell sun roof for his rust less one :D

I have the front abs comp but not the rear abs...

I honestly don't know if the rear brakes were grabbing or not... the front do, otherwise I would have wrecked my car multiple times into a ditch... I'll be taking my wheels/tires off soon I'll check and see if the rear breaks have even been applied other than my e-brake parking...

I was told it was a computer in the back...

In the back of my car I have a nice black metal hump with wires leading to it and a couple random plugs dangling out of it

the plugs are covered up by a floor mat but they are beige (may have been white) and there are 3 or 4 of them

I don't think those are ABS wires. I don't remember ever seening those clips in any of the cars we tore apart. I guess I'd have to check the alltrac tonight if I get a chance.
