hey everyone, sorry for my noob question but im mechanically savvy, when it comes to electronics im a moron to say the least lol.

so i bought a wideband 02 sensor and a wideband guage (came together). the instructions are pritty clear on how to install except for the fact that its only instructions on how to hook it up to the guage. How do i hook it p to the ecu? or is it pointless to do so?

    thanks

-no idea either, but... if its just a gauge, it would think it would just be going to the o2. then youd power the gauge to light it up. just a guess thou.

-if its something thats supposed to make the mix adjustable like a black box or piggy back, i think youd be looking to modify one of the signals from the afm.

yer i cam wire up the guage to work, but rather then running to seperate 02 sensors, id like to run just one lol.
the plan is to go standalone and delete the AFM

-i would think until you go stand alone the wide band would just be a reference. once an ems is installed the wide band would go the ems first then the gauge. that way the signal would be interpreted by the ems, allowing adjustment through it.

-you may be able to splice the signal wire from the stock ecu on to the wide band wiring. that way the stocker is using the wide band signal. it woud be worth a try so you dont have to weld an extra bung in.

the factory ECU cannot read the output from a wideband.
so long story short, run 2 o2 sensors.
