i've picked up in the froums that all vert seals seem to be unavailable from ... anybody. does anyone know if they were made by toyota or by ASC ( who i believe engineerd the top for toyota). does anyone know if these seals can be made and how. in australia, there a couple of companies offering reproduction seals for low-volume cars, so it must be feasible thanks
Watch a clip of the Mythbusters guys building foam latex body parts for "Buster", their dummy; the process is almost the same. The trick for the do-it-yourselfer will be to have an oven large enough to hold the plaster of paris mold with the foam latex in it...
