I bought some universal racing seats for my '89 GT-S and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for a cheaper solution to install them. They are similar to this: http://i580.photobucket.com/albums/ss247/gr8whtckret/DSC03417.jpg with just 4 bolt housings on the bottom. Taking the sliders off of my current seats seems a bit too crazy as they are mostly welded and bolt on the side and not the bottom. Any suggestions?
Not an exact fit, but may work for your application.... http://www.amazon.com/MOMO-Sparco-NRG-Universal-Sliders/dp/B0091WW6KA racerb :study
Thank you! Any ideas on brackets/bases? The base on the OEM seats are welded to the sliders so I will still need a way to connect the seats to the car floor itself.
May have to go with something like this, it fills the need for both base mount and slider all in one. The big question for me would be if the seat mounting holes are a universal pattern that just bolt right up! http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/racing-seats-car-brackets.html racerb :neutral
