Excellent thanks alot. I was thinking of doing each section as a different PDF but I don't know what st162.com wants to do. If they want they can set up a web page for it or just leave it here in the forums. I was thinking seperate pdf's for each section because some poor souls are still on dial up and the 112 pages for the FI section takes up almost 26mb on my server so I don't know how much converting it to a pdf will save but I'm guessing when I have finished scaning the whole book it will take up about 250-350mb of server space. Even zipping the 112 pages for FI it still a 19mb zip file. I can post a link for the zip file for you so you don't have to download all 112 FI pages if you want. I have finished scaning all the different indexes so you can get a better idea of the details in each section. When there are no specific requests for scans I will concentrate on electrical sections as both Chiltons and Haynes manual cover most mechanical issues although if your buying one of those manuals I highly recommend you pick the Chiltons version, it covers more topics and is the only manual that deals with All-Tracs. So for now I will continue scaning in this order Ignition System Starting System Charging System Emmision Control System
No it does not. Their is a seperate manual BRM001E Celica Collision Damaged Body Repair Manual but I don't have a copy and don't know how much detail it will go into for specific repair welding procedures. It probably wouldn't be to detailed. I imagine it will just tell you how to remove the old panel by cutting out the spot welds and replacing it with a new panel. You could check out this link Project Rust II 85 Celica Supra if you have any questions I may have some answers. You could also check out this link Project Rust Destroyer (56K W*A*R*N*I*N*G) it's my 88 All Trac so you might be able to find some specific areas that I have fixed that would interest you.
Hmmm the problem is that the car has to go through a repair certification before I can re-register it. I need to be able to prove that I have followed the manufacturers requirements for structural repairs. Quite difficult when I don't know what those requirements are! :?
im sure most of you know about this too http://www.celicatech.com/imagearchive/ ... ac_bgb.php for the all trac
I have gone through the Body section of the manual and scanned the dimmensions section for you. Other than that the manual has no other info on structural repairs. ST162 Body All structural repairs are made to ensure the dimmensions of the vehicle are correct. I don't think any Toyota manual is going to say any more than - remove damaged panel(s) by cutting out the spot welds - straighten frame on frame straightening machine - spot weld replacement panel(s) on
i mean print out your own copies? its better to have a physical manual than one on the net that you need to go on the computer to find! id buy one!
How do I access the Donator's Corner? When I click it, it says I don't have permission to access the page.
