Hi! Found this on ebay, a replacement interior carpet for mye 86 Celica. Instead of having to clean the carpet I'd rather just change the whole thing. My celica has the grey interior, but what colour is it, more specifically? Does anybody know? Is it standard grey, or something else? I'd really like to get as close to the original as possible. i'll bump this thread cause maybe you already bought the carpet, but also wanted to see if people knew whether the coupe carpet is the same as the hatchback st165? it looks the same but i'm not 100% st165 has a different part number for carpet but that may just be because of holes that need to be cut more than the actual shape i'm guessing.
shaping of the st165 is different but will fit in your st162, I did it but would rather have a new black ST162 carpet. In the rear it definately is so much different you can see the body.
Sorry what I meant was that I have a st165 but looks like only st162 coupe carpet is available. Do you remember what the difference was? My carpet is in pretty rough shape I don't think there is any other alternative to what acc has.
ok so st165 carpet into st162 hatch worked, does anyone know if the coupe carpet is that much different?
