In UK, did you definitively stop driving on the bad side of the road...??

More seriously, thank you Steve for the invitation but I live in south of France.... So, really far away from UK.

Thanks Steve! It's got a bit of a tear in very few places but it's all good. The rear seats are gonna go soon. :sad The part closest to the rear window is starting to tear. Damn those UV rays.Yes that trinket thing haha, it says 2003 on it as well so it wasn't. My mother stopped driving this car years ago. She now deems it too low to drive now haha. Last time she drove the car was probably before 2000! My father has been driving this car as well he just likes putting stuff on the mirrors just because.

How bizzare, I have never seen a rear seat belt coming out of there, it's a lap belt yes ?
Not as safe as a shoulder belt but looks better.

I just spotted this same thing :) Strange.
First I thought that it's a coupé and that's why, but then I saw that it's Jamezzy's car.

Never seen that type of rear belt either, that plug normally hides a panel screw.
Looks like somebody fitted a retracting belt or is it fixed?

The JDM's came with 3 belts on the rear seat. Centre one is a loose lap belt which I deleted.
    Maybe Fernando kept his?

Fernando - awesome job boet! came together well. I see your dash is going the same way my old one did.
Any plans to get it refurbed? I found a better one plus bought a dash mat still lying in OZ.
Strange that your car was black inside and all the rest are blue, very few black JDM's around!
My black Dash/panels etc were "lifted" from my Corona

Here's another thing I did after having too many spares lying in the boot, (I believe in carrying spare everything)
Secret compartments - armrest covers are velcro'd on

My amp, the rear light unit, the boot solenoid and the TEMS computer live under the rear LHS panel.
I got the idea after having to rip out the back seat a few times to adjust the amp, change fuses etc

Here's a view of the acm panel with the original stays and some extra 6' speakers (woofers) fitted.
The Corona seat has a seperate boot carpet and not joined like on the hatchbacks.

On the lhs you can see the harness plug I borrowed from a dead car and makes
unplugging the rear cover/speakers a one handed affair, so apart from the speakers
in the cover the boot is fully functional. The amp gets a stream of fresh air from
the vent in the doorwell and vents hot air out thru the tail light vents

I tell you guy's I also never seen some thing like that before Kevin yes I did keep my belts on the rear seat there's
3 of them just like you said my dash no not planning repairing it for now to many other stuff to get to thinking of just putting some sort of sticker (TRD) over the crack why it's black I really can't tell but center consul was blue before someone as painted it black and thanks on the comment your amp is nicely hidden away nice Idea

All panels were originally blue or brown

The factory then coated them Black, Grey, Red etc, and under dash pic of my car shows
how bad they coated some parts

Do you know what they coated them with? some of my black panels are rubbing down to blue, it doesn't look too great.

I used some brown interior pieces and just got me some black satin finish plastic paint. Works perfectly and looks factory made :)

Are there any tricks to this? ie

Warming the panels in the sun
    Using ultra thin coats
Cleaning them 1st with alcohol/Acetone etc

I indeed painted in a warm environment (summer inside a shed), degrease it, rough it up a little , degrease again, best is primer it first but I didn't and it's still holding. I used 2 or maybe 3 thin layers and that did the trick. Plain simple rattlecan job. :)

By wright just need to sand them with fine paper 800 or 1500 and then degrease them properly so that it's free from oil and all that dash product's we all use got to use plastic primer first the best would be a clear plastic primer then you can spray what ever color you want 2k,Matt or even base coat with clear over it trick for not peeling again is spray around the edges and the back part of it. Weather not a very big factor as long it not very cold 18deg+ should be fine baked even better for those that can.
