Does Sea-Foam really work? Or is it just a "gimmick"?

  2. yes it really works, i like to use half through the vacuum line and half through the tank. when you run it through the vacuum line rev and hold at 3000 rpm for a few minutes. then kill the engine and let sit for thirty minutes or so. after that just let it idle till exhaust burns clean again. if it is your first time using it the car will smoke like hell thats normal don't freak out. now on the tank side it will clean the injectors out and such to an extent. but i have never measured the injector spray before and after so i have no numbers on it.

Ive seen alot of people do 1/3 in the tank, 1/3 into the crankcase, and 1/3 in the vacuum. Which line do I need to take off to put the seafoam in? Pictures would be nice! Also, would you recommend putting in the crankcase?

Did you use the brake booster line to feed in the fluid?

I think it may be the brake booster but do NOT quote me on that. I have never done this. I'm sure there is lots of information on the web about it.

if your putting it into the crancase dont leave it in there! make sure you change the oil after a day.
