So me and my roommate did a head swap and she's been running great for the last few days, but this morning we got out to check the coolant and oil and when I start her she starts choochin very heavy gasoline/petrol/whatever you call in in your part of the world smelling smoke out of the tail pipe, so of course we bought new o2 and coolant temp sensors and spark plugs and changed them all but it's still running very rich, any other advice for what it could be?

Faulty AFM or ECU would be my guess
What happens when it warms up?

    Also check the fuel pressure?

Ah thanks Stig! Figured it out a couple weeks back, it was the screw on the inlet pressure regulator had back itself completely out so it was unregulated fuel pressure. Ended up blowing one of my injectors too (leaked from the plug?) So we replaced all 4 just in case. Runs great again, with a slight oil smoke now in the morning so I'm thinking valve stem seals but its a new head we put on before all this so I would assume the valve stem seals are new as well so that's a little weird

    That's not a stock FPR?
Seals sometimes do take quite a while to seal properly but I suspect your rings may be getting old, do you warm it up before driving off?
