86 Celica GT-S IT LIVES (hopefully) This is my new Celica. Internet's being a dick, so I only managed to get one picture uploaded. Should get the rest up later hopefully.
Thanks. There's just one patch of rust, behind the drivers side wheel, on the floorpan. Nothing too bad, it looks pretty manageable. Interior is mint, exterior is equally well kept, apart from a few dents here and there.
Finally managed to get some more pics up! got an aftermarket moonroof. Works pretty well. That's Doug's RX-7 next to the Celica. Factory cup holders baby! 3SGE power. Gotta clean it up a bit. The valve covers are very gold, but I don't think its JDM. Some of the components of the stereo.
saweeeeettt! looks very nice! the shadows in the first pic make the guard look fuller! nice cup holder+moonroof!
Haha, car was filled with air fresheners when I bought it, these pics were taken just a couple days after. Interior is practically mint, just a few issues here and there. Dash is faded and the steering wheel was raped by a huge rubber monstrosity. Made the diameter of the wheel a good 2 inches bigger, and destroyed the leather. So gay. Meph, the moonroof was installed years ago, by some company whose name I can't remember, I'll check it when I get home. It's not power, just pops up, but it seals nicely. The car originally did not have a sunroof, this moonroof is actually a bit smaller than the stock sunroofs. Stereo was also done by previous owner, and pretty poorly. I'm doing some rewiring this weekend, and taking the sub out. It takes up far too much space in the rear, and weighs a ton. Sounds awesome though. And yeah, Doug is still looking for a 4th gen. coupe, don't think he cares if its a GTS or not.
I put on the decals Kevin sent me yesterday, they look really fucking good! I only got the drivers side on, it started to rain and I noticed more damage on the passenger side from that deer (MF!); there's a large patch of paint under the door handle that is just cracked to hell, it looks shattered... so gotta repaint the fucking door too. but the drivers side looks awesome!
My car turned 22yo. this month, decided to give it a good cleaning, painted the the wheels glossy black in between the spokes, looks awesome, and took it for a spirited drive on one of the more twisty backroads near me. To thank me for all the love, the car lost a quart of oil in the last 10 days.
Must be burn, couldn't see any signs of a leak, but I'll get up under it today and give it a little more thorough looking over. If it is burn, what can I do to fix that?
Glad to hear you like the graphics, I like mine too. I don't think your motor is shot, just burns oil as does mine when using 10w40. <- I guess is too thin? :? -K
