How do you get that bastard off? I took both front ones off, sanded them, and then repainted them black in preperation for the meet, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the rear one off to do the same. Also is there a way to get it to sit vertically on the window, and not horizontal, and remain functional?

Its annoying, its best done with 2 people...

but if you do it yourself a nice big set of plyers to grip it... Took me for ever to get mine off until I tried that

You mean that big ass nut thing that sits between the arm and the trunk lid?

The rear one has caps like the front two...

    Pop the cap up
    unbolt it
    Grab tight with your pliers
level the area that was bolted, (I can show/help you friday)
    and lift

it sounds easy but its tricky...

to rock a ryme, thats right one time. its tricky

once you take the nut off the srping pressure causes the sleeve to sit crooked and bind on the shaft(much like the stopper on a screen door). To remedy this you must lift the arm off teh window so the sleeve is perpendicular to the shaft...then its all in the wiggle baby....and careful prying

So basically like the front ones, but a buttload more difficult? ok, I'll get Doug over monday to help me out, I need it done before the meet.
