ive seen people do the ebay HID ect....not sure id trust the quality but havent heard complaints.
-the way i want to go is HELLA. they sell a conversion kit for different size square lights. it will convert it to a halogen bulb like on newer cars. so you can just swap the bulb and not an entire headlight. id bet that will be much brighter.

-imo alot of the "conversion" kits are probably just this re-packaged w/ a mark up.

@jwagner...those are originally sold by toyota and are in my car as well. I even have an original set as spare or sale.

It has H4 lights and can be swapped to HID if you want without problems :).

You keep the original size then as it is original toyota stuff.

If you don't go Euro OEM or Hella, the next best housings are made by Autopal. I have these in my car with H4 bulbs. Very well built, not plastic, but glass lenses. These are like the other H4 replacement bulb type housings...very easily converted to HID...

    EBAY

there alrite.....but you need to get different bulbs as the ones that come with the lights burn out pretty quickly. other than that not bad for under 30.

if you dig around on hellas site you can find info on the light patterns of the different types. i like the one in the pic. looks like it just needs to be aimed a bit higher?

The ones I have laying around are OEM and they should be sharp edged I guess?

In my own car I use clear headlights with approval which have HID in them :). THey came with H4.
