So, I am missing the parcel shelf...

I came across a few posts not long ago of people throwing together their own (can't seem to find them now).
How did you guys go about this, exactly? Especially in regard to the curved edge of the hatch.

I don't have an old one as a template :sad5 .. and the way I'm visualising cutting the curved edge won't be as neat as I want.

I'm in Sydney as well, you can borrow one of mine to use as a template. PM me if you want to and we'll work something out

    Cheers,
    Matt

That'd be awesome, actually. I have a leak in the back to fix up before I go to the effort, but I'll definitely look at swiping yours for a bit..
Where abouts in Sydney are you?

just rebuilt mine. Its was thrashed so i traced out a new one out of thicker board , carpeted it and painted the bottom black.

Im going to install some directional LED's that will point down into the hatch area. The little light thats back there sucks at illuminating the hatch so i figured some directional lights will help when im trying to fish around in there when its dark out.

nice work. I did mine a year ago using a 1/2 mdf. It's holding up well but I have yet to finish it.. i still have to cover it like you did... i have the red interior and up until now, I have decided if i should get a carpet that matches it or go with a black like you did.. oh, plus i was initially planning on mounting my amp on the parcel shelf and make a custom amp rack that I haven't even started...
