I need the torque specs and sequence on the bolts for the exhaust manifold to head, downpipe to manifold, and alternator bracket to head.

Haha, as soon as I find a job that pays well enough to have money left over after bills!

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait a few more days to drive her though...I left my O2 sensor and some bolts in Doug's toolbag, and hes got that with him back in VA for the weekend, so poop :|

What is the downside to removing EGR on a US spec Celica, and how hard is it to do? I ask because the two bolts that hold the EGR pipe to the manifold broke cleanly in two when I was removing it, and I don't have a screw extractor set or know what size the bolts are in the first place.

egr lowers NOx by lowering comb temp by diluting the intake charge with burned gases. you might not pass the e-test and may run a bit hotter, but i dont see that as a downside. your going to have to drill out that mani, or find a gen two ge manifold. as for difficulty, id say its easy. remove egr actuator, and pull the vacuum modulator and cap off where they bolted, to the intake mani and ex mani.

Cool...my county in VA doesn't have an emissions test, so thats not an issue, and it runs on the cool side anyway.
