don't know how good the deal is/was but bought them off ebay for the best price I could find within european union. Just happy to finally have them :).

I 've seen many 205 sets on egay for peanuts from x-brands...are those any good you reckon?

new purchase: TTE's 17 inch. ET35 7,5J. Tires are pretty much done for, maybe they will last this summer, we'll see.

Not real lightweighed though... 20.1 Kg's each with tire on.. but well that's just as it is :.

So yesterday I took out the radiator as I have the Aluminum radiator for more cooling capacity :).

I also put on the TRD (chinese ;) ) oilcap which looks good :).

Question: I want to buy me a spall fan (sucking type) and use their thermostat for efficiency.. Who knows what the thread size is of the hole on the leftbottem side of the radiator? (engine side). See the last pic !!

by the way, old radiator core is 2cm and the new one 4 cm :) Huge difference !

oh look that's similar! btw, link to that oil cap? when you find out what size the thread is too at the bottom of the rad, i'd like to know since i'd rather have a fan sensor switch on the rad to turn the fans on/off

    looks to be M14 x 1,5

the trd oil cap is just an ebay thing... just put in the words and pick the cheapest lol

I want to use the spal thermostat but not sure about the wiring as in Europe there is no wiring kit available and only a thermostat with 2 connections is which switches on/off so I guess that plus a 30A fuse would do the trick?

tough call because that one wire for our fan switch connects to ground to turn OFF the fan. although off the top of my head i think you could do this with that thermostat and hook it up directly to the fan. as for the fuse, i think 20A would be enough...but then again i just spend hours figuring out how to put my fan back to stock wiring/function

According to the selling company it is indeed that simple... 12v on the switch and a fuse (20A is enough indeed). So Ill go ahead with that setup.

Finally got my other new rad hose from Toyota plus the 2 new radiator hold things that allow some movement of the radiator. As you see in the pics the old ones were totally gone (rusted of course) and movement was something from the past :).

The lower hose fits fine when I tried to fit but the upper doesn't really...is that the one to shorten??
the lower hose also had a rubbin damage, but don't see where it should rub, maybe from the 3sge still?? Anybody seen this kind of rubdamage?

Now waiting on month's end for some cash to order the spal fan plus thermostat and an oil filter relocator kit.

    let the pictures show :

PS : who sees my new cosmetic update? ;)

    old vs new
