I bought this celica 3 years ago, it´s one of two st162 left in use in Iceland.
when I got it it was really beaten up and hadn´t been taken care of in a long time, it was soposed to be black but it was grey cause the paint hasn´t been polished in years and it had alot of rust. but I decidet to rescue this one.

    here are some pics.

this is wat it looked like

wow...that beats my rust issues in the past with ease !! wtf with that plate under the passenger seat??? Like dropping your passenger on the ground :) lol

    thanks you all.
the boxes next to the soundsystem is just some stuff that were lying around on the flor, not a part of the stereo.

I used wurth saBesto tectyl spray to rust proof the bottom.

those flormats are from a 2001 model I once had. I kept them when I sold the car and they fit pretty well.

Great work. Must feel kinda rare to be only one of two 162s remaining; do you know the other owner?

yes it´s a rare car in Iceland and that´s the season why I bought it plus I love celica´s. And yes I know the owner of the other running st162.
This is my work place. I work for a local Toyota dealership in the spare parts division.
I found alot of other rust. I have alot of more pictures to come :)

Thanks I´m wery proud to have this one.
the seats are great and I love that the driver seat has an elecric switch for the lumbar and side support.
I ordererd the floor mats from a celica 2000+ accessories catalog when I had that car,
(the original partnumber for the flormats is "PZ410-10350DG")

You've had a generation 7 Celica and now this generation 4. Which one do you prefer although I understand they are both great Celicas in their own right.

It nust be useful working for Toyota as you can get a lot of original parts, but do they give you a good discount ?
