Where is the best place to get one? Autozone has a 70 amp for $95 which seems to be the best deal for a 70 amp. Most are 60 amp. It would be nice to have the 170 amp  one off ebay but not for $600.

you can also get yours rewound to 120 or 180. Sometimes its a good idea depending on the initial shape of yours

I really need to get something on the car quicker though. Think I will be ok with a 70 amp running maybe a 200 watt amp?

Have you thought about reconditioning your old one?

I thought about it, but really dont have the time to mess with it. I actually bought one last night at autozone for $95 + core for a 70 amp one. It did the trick and all is well.
