    Nice.... Can't wait to see more. These I need to take out my turning signal switch because the switch isn't working and it looks all dirty. Was going to ask do you no were I can get the out side driver side door handle mine is broken and I hate going around my car to open the door.

    I have an extra handle, but I believe the nut insert on the back of it is broken, let me check tonight just to see. I'll also check the one on the parts car, biggest problem with these handles is removing the bolts on the backside that hold them in, tend to break the plastic.

    Ill part with mine when i get around to removing them and filling in the hole, im installing and testing a shaved doorhandle kit and ill have mine just laying around as spare parts. i have to wait till i get some better wire and better relays for the system since the relays keep sticking and causing me to pop a fuse, but once i get all the bugs worked out and the emergency release mounted... just in case of battery failure, mine will be all set to go. Ill only charge ya the price of shipping which will likely only be like 6 dollars since i am in the us.

    Racerb,, nice mods dude, loving the work you are doing. I was thinking about doing something similar to help the air from my areo bumper get through my radiator to help with cooling.

    Are your lock cylinders still in good shape, I have the handles minus the lock cylinders already off the car, just need to re-glue the nutserts back into the backs. I'll post up a pic for you in a few hours or so.....

    Ya everything is good I just need the handle Lever to open door. That's the only thing that's broken everything else works.

    Here is the handle I have, had to go ahead and put some Super Glue on it where the nutsert had broken out removing it from the car......

    Removed the driver's side door from the Celica today to finish painting the lower a-pillar and back of fender that's still burgundy. Also while it's off the car, I'm going to finish painting the inside panel of the door and it's trim. I'm toying with the idea of removing the door hinge pins and replacing them with removable pins, so doors can be removed easily at the race track. This modification would also make working on the car easier in the shop, since I wouldn't be dealing with the doors always in the way.

    Any thought guys on making the doors removable, I really want to make this happen!

    well if you are going to do that i would suggest...
    removing the door bars in the door and making it as light as possible.
    installing roll cage related door bars in the car.
    then i'd just use a quick pin set
