    Hi,

I got a problem with the electric window on my convertible.

Only had the car two weeks and it wasn't the quickest and on sunday it stopped dead fully down in in the door.

I've decided to swap it for the one in the car I'm breaking, but its taken me about an hour to get the glass out.

I reckon its going to be easier to take out the window when its up, but has anyone go any instruction in how to take the window our and change the electric window motor?

ive done this a few times, theres catches at the top of the window that have to be removed and there is also 4 bolts holding on the motor, and two more holding on the slider for the window, remove all these and the motor then pulls out through the gap in the door.

taking the windows out are a pain....undo all of the mounting stuff on the glass itself and then loosing the top adjusting bolts on the top of the door and it helps to get the glass out quicker........or just prop the window up and exchange the motor out....thats easier.

this was a pita to do. i just ended up taking out all of the motors/brackets/solenoids before the glass, then it worked lol.
