hey i wouldnt touch an auto but my friend did soo...

    94 626 chronos(woo 4 door)

he has this problem where maintaing speed (holding down accelerator constant) the car shutters for a few seconds some times like it could be slipping and goes away in a few seconds. feels like driving on a rumble strip and that its comin from the trans.

second occurance happened once on teh highway, was going about 90 and wanted to accelerate so he hit the gas more and the revs went up and car did nothing.

im guessing tranny is fd or flywheel worn to shit.... (i have no idea how autos work heh) or could it just be from bad fluid/filter i know that helps bad shifts and stuff not sure abotu slipping, any ideas?

My bro-in-law had a minivan that would slip in 2nd gear all the time, and not catch like a worn out clutch would on a standard....

turned out he just needed to tighten some bolts on the tranny that are held in with some sort of cork or something and they loosened up and caused all his tranny problems

that's probably not your problem, though, so..yeah...I guess I didn't help much :d
