I Apologize now for not posting this in the appropriate area but the Australia area isn't visited often by many, a bit like ROTM atm, so i felt for maximum exposure i best post in the General discussion area also. I'm thinking of putting together a bit of a meet and great otherwise known as a cruise day for 4th Gen owners in Victoria, we rarely see them happen and if you do there are only ever a few 4th gen Celica’s as some members seem to have traded up or out into MR2's, Supra's or WRX's and the like. These of course will still be welcome as the knowledge these people hold can be quite invaluable. I know there aren't all that many Aussie's on here and even still less just in Vic but I would like to be doing this as a joint cruise between ST162 and OzCelica to maximize exposure and members attendants. So if you feel you would be interested in such an event raise your hand here and Say "I". Details will follow after confirmation of enough interest is obtained. The day will basically consist of a meet and greet, followed by a cruise along some nice roads or off to a particular destination for some form of fun filled event such as bowling or paint-balling maybe an auto show/event or trip to beach with some other smaller events incorporated who knows anything's possible at this point, I would just really like to organize a great day out with some fellow 4th genners. It'll be a great opportunity to meet face to face with fellow enthusiasts and share knowledge and mod advice, get to know each other and just have a great day out with or beloved rides. All details will be discussed communally before anything is finalized.
should just let everyone know i do still intend on doing this cruise, various technical issues and idiot tech heads meant my internet was out of commission for a few weeks and work has been dicking around with my hours lately so i've not been able to discuss plans with anyone, at this point in time looks like the main attraction is going to be easternats but it;s still up for discussion.
