needs so repair, did a temp fix with vinyl till i can sort it out, had to install to get home....lol so whatca think....also im thinking of letting a metal fab guy i know trace a pattern for a duck bill.
its actually for our 4th gens..... i think you can still buy one brand new but its spendy....16 bucks for this one was a good deal.
heres a quick search http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST1229.htm but those look nothing like the one i have, mine can be taking completely apart, like 5 sections. im thinking of taking it apart and wrapping the center metal sections in carbon fiber wrap and then just gloss blacking the sides im working on fixing the broken parts right now and letting it cure overnight.
Good find ! I always thought of them being cool, but seeing the pics on your car... I don't like them at all anymore. In combination with the side ones and the matt black ratlook it still looks cool, but not on a clean car I think
Wait till its fixed and finished.....gonna look even cleaner......those picks are straight after the yard find. I had to install it to get it home. Gonna plastic dip the sides maybe and wrap the centers in carbon fiber. Can't wait And I was joking about 400.
so i cleaned them up and fixed the cracks, plastic dipped the whole thing for now....looks good, ill takes some more pics tomorrow as it was too late to snap a shot.
