My 1986 Corona gtr (ST162)

    Hey all. Im a new member my names Adam im 16 , im from south africa but have lived in new zealand all my life. Anyway this is my 1986 corona gtr ( a ST162 celica minus the flip up headlights and some other details ) the car actually used to be my dads and me and him have progressively built it up over the last two years. hope you like! . pics to come

    those are just a few pics. here in new zealand you could'nt get the celica (flip up lights) in a coupe also there are quite a few celicas here with blue top 4age factory fitted ( chassis code AT160 ). oh and GTR=GTS and my car used to be Automatic, my dad and I converted it to Manual .

    If any of you guys want any parts like tailights and clear corner lights just tell me.

    Hrm....Alltrac Corona? Possible front end swap maybe? hrm...more ideas.

    I think the Corona front end looks fucking awesome on our cars. Great looking car, welcome.

    Is that 2nd engine strut bar (the one that goes tower-to-tower) factory or aftermarket? I've never seen that one before.

    Hey! What part of New Zealand do you live in? I was born in Auckland but have lived here in Canada most of my life. I would definately be interested in some clear corner lights!

    hey thanks for the compliments, its good to find a dedicated site for these cars and you guys have so many cool ideas ( rye's gauges ). the strut bar is home made and it is a jdm 3sge with custom made extractors into a 2.25 inch exhaust.
