My trunk lid has bent and have tried the timber bending back method to no avail. Mine is convertible, are the coupe lids the same?
Have looked everywhere in Australia for convertible one with no luck.
    Any help appreciated Chris

I believe they are the same
Is your problem rust in the lid or are the hinges bent?
My coupe had the same problems, the hinges on these are crap

No ,the hinges or struts got stuck but my wife persisted in trying to close it.
Thats very encouraging that they are same. I'll keep hunting.

Yeah, the hinges jam and the lid gets bent, most lids are rusting badly inside the supports so they bend waay too easy

Actually the story is that the vert was originally sedan bodies which were then converted by outside companies in USA, EU (Germany), OZ etc, so I'll bet all my money a sedan lid will fit, interesting is that there are major differences in the vert's found in these regions

Yeah - my coupe also has the slightly bent or curved deck lid from 32 years of hard service...
