It has a Toyota part number on it, so my only thought is a dealer optioned part.

Never seen another one, it's funny as it's what I'm used to I've always thought the "no gap" ones I see on other people's to be the odd ones :p

Oh yeah these cars are hard on motor mounts.
I've yet to find decent aftermarket ones that don't degrade after three or four years .

    Yeah it's from some toyota ... I'm guessing early 2000's corolla or some such...not a 4g spoiler...
It def gives your ride a unique profile

Maybe I'll go speak to a Toyota guy and see If they can look up the part number :p
I am quite fond of it, too bad it's this weird steel cored rubber stuff that's full of rust! Lol

Well replacing the Mount did exactly what I hoped.... Stopped the atrocious banging/tapping around corners.

Turns out my exhaust was hitting my stabiliser arm, and my block was straight up sitting on my cross member...

It's as quiet as anything now

Gave it a proper wash and polish too, which it hasn't seen in a while. (date tomorrow lol)

Pics up when the morning hits!

Plug the part number into Toyodiy or Amayama, either of them should tell you what model/s it came off

    Well latest update.

My new clutch crapped itself suddenly and without warning. Buffer spring escaped and jammed it up.... new clutch going in this weekend.

Taking the opportunity to find sus oil leak while i have an empty engine bay.

Once its all back together itll be paint prep time.... i promise to do a more in depth following of the painting side.
Updates once clutch is back in!

New clutch is in and all back together. Along with some Nolethane rear bushings as I had a cm front to back play on rear wheels!

So the new clutch is Clutch Industries brand. Straight away I noticed it has not only 3 damper Springs, but also 3 rubber shock absorbers also.
The steel surrounding them is also about 0.3mm /15though thicker, and general build quality seems higher.

Makes sense as the warranty is twice that of the Exedy. Now has 2 yr/ 40,000 km warranty.
I paid more, Exedy was 175 online and Clutch Industries was 240 locally, but after this I wouldn't touch Exedy again. I don't launch or abuse my clutch and it was destroyed.

Sure they may reimburse me for the clutch but not the labour or all the syncro dust in the bottom of my gearbox...

New clutch is light as a feather too.

Sounds like a good choice ... That should last a long time since you don't thrash it (regularly)
