I went to your Ebay ad and ugh! what a beautiful conv you have there that is getting broken up! If you were much closer I would consider buying the whole car from you. I just love the white convs with standard shift. (When I lived in England, I drove back and forth from London to Richmond so the right hand drive would be kinda neat) Although the shipping from UK to US would be prohibitive, mind passing along the make and model of your wheels? I like that design and maybe I can find something comparable on this side of the pond.

Good call on the wheel style burakol. Similar to what I am REALLY after, the Enkei RSF-2 which has been discontinued. Today, I sent another email to a guy in Austin, TX who has a set for sale for a reasonable $250. Nice ones are hard to find.

Using a $1.52 conversion, that comes to a bit under $1,900 for the body work and about $1,000 for the top. For me, that's not bad. There is one QUALITY upholstery shop in New Orleans that will do the top for the same price, $1,000. I'm in for that. Paint and body is a bit more from the guy who does my work. He painted this for me last year.

It was more than twice $2,000 though but then again, I find his work top notch. He does a lot of the show car Mustangs around here.

That said, parafuso, I would buy that darn car if it were near me.
