    Hi All,

Coming home from work today my car developed a wobble and a possible knocking sound coming from the front of the car.

I was doing 50mph in 4th gear and I could feel a slight rokcking in the steering wheel which rapidly got worse so I braked as it felt like it was tryin to throw me off the road.

As I braked the affect was heavier till a got to about 20 mph and the car was fine.

It felt like the the wheel was oing to fall off, but when I ot home and jacked it up everything was bolted in place and nothing was loose.

I'd been driving for about 10 mins before it happened and I had been going much faster earlier, plus it happend exactly the same in the morning(lesser extent)

    Any ideas?

rigght had a look at the brake calipers and they seem fine.

took it for a test drive and the car is been snatched and pulled to the left in jerky motion, it does not want to steer right.

but when parked to will steer right and not left(power steeringg squeels)

    basically undriveable

The list of possible failed parts is so long it's not even funny.

Your outer tie rod could of sheared off. Your inner tie rod may be destroyed. Your steering rack can be messed up.

Your could have issues with your ball joint or wheel bearing. The strut may be messed up.

The best bet would be to do the following.

Engage parking brake. Chock the rear tires. Raise the front of the car and put it on stands (so the wheels are not touching anything).

Give each wheel the shake test. Grab it at 9 and 3 (like a clock) and see if there is any play. Repeat at 12 and 6. If there is play at the 9 and 3 position, your tie rods should be replaced. If there is play at 12 and 6, wheel bearing and/or ball joint is the culprit.

Take the tire off. Judging by your posts above there is something <SERIOUSLY> broken. You should be able to see something hanging loose. My bet is the tie rods on the driver side went out. Replace both sides with OEM parts.
