if you tap on the pedal when it's stuck, does it loosen it?

Lol mine sticks as well. But as you said all it needs is a tap or a bit more than a tap sometimes and it's back to normal. I too would like to see the solution to this.

Add some lube to the kick back spring, try that and let us know what you get, also you can take a look at the screw that holds the spring and plastic roller (under the spring) just make sure there's nothing binding.

-take the cable off the t.b. assembly and see if the plate closes all the way and has no binding when moved by hand. if it does then the issue will be either be a bad or mis-adjusted cable or something in the pedal assembly. if it doesnt close all the way then you should be able to adjust the t.b. screw so it does.

-sounds like its likely a worn cable, or just needs adjustment.

I got it well i forgot to say its an automatic with cruise control so i decided to rip the plastic black cover to realize there was another set of kris cross pulleys which when i tried to pull with my hand it was really tight i sprayed it down like 10 times with some gunk lube oil and the problem resolved thanks for all the suggestions hope this can help someone else
