So it's an alltrac converted to rally?

Looks like a gen3 3sgte (or a 3rd gen TMIC W2A intercooler).

Thing I don't like though..




Alltrac = 4wheel disc brakes last I checked.

Same as a GTS = 4 wheel disc brakes.

I like 4 wheel disc brakes, my camry also has 4 wheel disc brakes, my RAV4
has drums in the rear and I would say my experience is the RAV4 is the
worst of the 3 in braking performance

 

I see it has 5 lug rims..but the rears look like they are drum brakes...

 

The rear discs have drums built in for the parking brake

 

I'm well aware of that. I have one of my GTS's on blocks due to waiting on brake parts.

The thing is I do not see the disc around the ebrake drum in that picture. IT looks just like a regular drum.



Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe the rotors are off while they do a full brake change?

its definately a 165 you can tell by the floor pan in the boot. way different to a 162. The disc is there i can see it, just hard to see.

Thats a 185 RC/CS Motor wich is a slightly different WTA cooler then the 205. its got a fairly big heat exchanger on it.
i know its a rally car but they certainlt made it quite ugly

 

Car does not look as best as it should but I heard so many people want his type headlight set up. RALLY. :roll :hsdance (not talking about the huge ones in the middle)
He no longer has the flip up lights, but the stationary ones that Carlos Sainz drove in the day in the 1989 RAC rally.

 

I think those light mounts were available to race teams

I heard they had some for sale only in Japan, but the business went out of business..
