I thought I've put away my rust problems enough to buy me time for a good body. I have no access to a welder and I don't have the knowhow either. So bondo was used. Floorpans still have the factory underbody coating so no rust there. It's just the quarters I'm having a problem with.

I used bondo to fill in some holes, primer, paint, clearcoat. but it's still rusting through? especially the insides of the quarters. (along the green line as an example it's my only quarter picture)

Am I putting on too little primer? Wrong kind? Missing some sort of sealer? I'm gonna tackle this again mid/late april. I'm pretty much looking for a way that is the best way to do this on a very very tight budget.

There is a product call "Stop Rust", can be got at most auto parts stores (here in Canada anyways). Just paint it on rust with a brush and it chemically reacts and turns it back into metal....then after giving it time to work (overnight) it should have turned all black......now you want to sandblast/sand/cut out all that old metal and paste some more of this stuff around your cut edges and let it sit again. Then redo the bondo/filler and paint, that will take care of it
