watch the video......when starting off from zero and accelerating she will get the brake light to come on? but then will shut off within a few seconds?....she wont show the brake light even under hard accelerating afterwards tho....only when coming from very low speeds will she shine the brake light?

bad connection maybe? but its not intermittent......does it every time.

i had that before too. i lifted the ebrake a little and drop it back down to get rid of the light. it does seem to be a bad connection and i just got pissed off at the light that i just took off the bulb.

Top off your brake fluid reservoir. It's low.

Also check all 4 corners and clutch lines to make sure there's not a leak. Chances are you have a caliper or line that has developed a leak.

Good point. If topping up doesn't solve it; start looking around to ensure you're safe!

hrm. so what exactly is that brake light connected to? i thought it was just a light for the ebrake?

It's connected to a switch on the handbrake and a float in the brake fluid cap

wearing the brakepads causes the fluid level to drop as more fluid is in the lines and calipers as with new brakepads.

Please don't panic and assume there is a leak ;). I guess if it would leak you allready would have seen it as you are a celica fool as all of us :).
