Thanks bud. Too be honest I wouldn't even call it work, more of a leisure activity for me. I love working on my car; even well it rebels against me. LOL, seeing all those damn beautiful Celica's that are around in the UK (especially yours) I don't think mine would be worthy to be placed beside one of them; I love my Celica to death but we both know she's not perfect...yet!!!!

lol, it's amazing what $10 can buy. I'm almost tempting to keep the muffler for longer than I was planning and put off the HKS muffler for a little longer.

Totally agree with you! Its not work, its "The Way Of The Celica". I have that atitude when I"m cleaning it, gives me so much pleasure, then I stand back and admire it from all angles.

Theres actually not that many in the UK, or if there are I don"t know about them.

I'm with Tanner; working on my Celicas is therapy for me. If I'm pissed off with work, the g/f or the world, I find something to do on my cars. It's a Zen thing for me

lol my mum told me the other night that my car obsession was "getting out of hand" i told her its only just beginning haha.
its funny alot of my mates tell me im wasting my time and money. yet when they have car trouble whos the one they call for help/advice and then say "good thing your into cars" lol

My love of cars is partyly why i left my apprenticeship working on other peoples cars all week with no passion was draining my passion to work on mine on the w/e's. I can think of a week where i havent bought something new or worked on my cars haha

    ^^ lol, yeah definitely man!

    Update:

Got a couple new video's of the car.

I've also put the rear seats/carpet back in for the winter time and put my new door sills in; ones that actually stay in even without the screws. :D Will start cleaning the inside tomorrow.

Video 1 - Here are some "fail" video's of attempting to make a cool "drive over the camera" video. This however is when I didn't have the new muffler on - will attempt this again soon with the new muffler. Finally have a friend that's into cars nearly as much as me - he's got a '87 Supra and he's always in the mood to make new videos which is A-Okay with me; so expect plenty more.

Video 2: This is a few drive by's, driving footage from the inside (sound failed), and shots/sound of the new muffler. The sound pick up from the camera is terrible so this video doesn't do justice on how it actually sounds - oh well?

The only other thing I've done is made it so that "N" magnet (for my dumb license) hang from my rear tow hook instead of having that dang, property of ICBC (insurance company here), piece touch my car directly.

That's it for now. Comments are always welcome! :D

    -Tanner.

EDIT: lol, replied before I posted.

lol, too true. I definitely spend A LOT of time and ALL my money on my car...though IMO I'm not wasting time or wasting money as my friends would say.

that first video looks like a shot in one of those racing movies. lol nice fail though. you got like over $100 in your hands that you can potentially run over. brave

These friends are just jealous because they haven"t got what we have, Man and Celica in perfect harmony! LOL. As Rick 89gts says, its the perfect therapy when we"re pissed off with the world. That is just so TRUE.

I always enjoy it when I"ve given it a good polish, then just drive it, nowhere in particular.

lol, yeah, I am quite careful when I drive over it. It's quite small so it'd be hard to hit it; the video isn't playing in HD for some reason though...hmm.

lol, yeah after I clean it I always drive around; just for the fun of it. I usually try to take the long way back home so I can drive it a little longer. I've never driven a car that makes me want to keep driving it like my Celica does.

hey tanner, im curious as to what the inlet size of that muffler is.
i dont have the money for a cat back or anything right now and really hate the sound my muffler gives off, its pure rice lol...so i wanna get a muffler welded on but dont know what inlet size to look for
also what size tip is that?

lol...hmm I think the inlet on my muffler is either 2.5 or 3 inches. Though it doesn't really matter what size it is because they will just make an adapter for it; that's what they did for mine This tip on mine is 4 inches  .

    Hope this helps! :D

    thanks :D
sounds good btw, u got lucky it didnt make it sound terrible haha. do u not have to worry about exhaust db there? pigs are real ass holes here when it comes to modified exhausts, but its always the imports that are getting pulled over for it, never a mustang or a camaro or a huge dodge or ford truck with giant pipes coming out the back..

    Thanks!

Yeah not too sure what the db rules are here but I haven't gotten pulled over yet, now that my muffler is on it's not too too loud so it should cause a problem. LOL, but before..hahah...oh god, so god damn loud in the high rev's...I actually miss how loud it was...

Went to a grocery store's (Superstore) underground parkade before I got the muffler on a ripped around down there and revved it high and holy hell you'd almost go deaf...haha...much much fun. I should have made a video...DAAMIT
