86CelicaGT-S - $450 for the shocks and $280 for the springs. sprey16 - The reason it drive stiff and bumpyish is because those springs you fitted are variable rate springs. lone wolf - Rubs like crazy when i turn, pretty certain its because of the offset of the rims though.
oh what ?? so ive got set rates ? or progessive im lost in the world of springs, definitly think i needa do the shocks if they shocks are 450 all up aussie dollars thats not too bad
Yeah, progressive rate... might feel bumps more, but helps alot when turning. Yeah $450 for all 4 + what you paid to fit the springs, it should basically cost the same amount.
sweet thanks im on a roll with parts i think i spotted a gt four at the wreckers 40 min away from me going to ring up and find out you fixed your rubbing yet ? ill get a pic of what i done to my inner guards
Yeah, handles very well when not rubbing. Even better once i replace the bushes with polyurethene ones.
haha and of course im gonna ask for part numbers for the bushs , ant what company you getting them through
Nice mate. looks sweet as!! personally, i would of kept the spoiler, but its your car. what year is that? mine is the Jan. '89 model, with a '87 front on it, looks alot better, in my opinion. Loving the red on it. if you can, look around for some GT-Four Seats, that will go quite well with your car! (i put some in my coupe, great for those corners as the hold you in place, so if you can find them, get them, they are alot better than the seats we got here in australia. i got some proper JDM GT-Four seats, rare as. Spreys GT-R has the same style, just without leather (i think) and they are great for cruisin.
