    So who here has replaced this little gem and how much of a pain was it?

    Its a pain, its do able, but a bit cramped.

    I did it the easy way and took the engine and gearbox out to change it.. lots of access then :D

    yep that thing sucks. use line wrenches and lots of presoaking in lube.

    it wasnt that bad when i did it, just get about 1 foot of extension bigs wth a socket on the end then attach it to a braker bar and your of to the races. Getting the lower nuts tricky but dooable, i think I had mine done in about 20 minutes , but my trans may have been out at the time, i cant remember.
