Rear disc swap retaining 4x100

So I'm gonna do a brake swap. But this isn't your normal 4 to 5. I bought everything I need to perform a rear disc swap. I'm not going to go through the hassle of changing the fronts. What's more is that I have some nice 4x100 Enkeis that I still love.

So I think I devised a solid way to work within the confines of my parameters. All I really have to do swap the hub off my drums for the hub off my discs. The hub assembly is exactly the same between the two models. The difference is the axel and how many lugs it carries. If I swap them my problem is solved. I'll do everything else required....swap axel carriers and what not. The difference between me and everyone else (from a part number comparison point of view) should be the axel/lugs.

So the next question should be about the disc. Where do I source a 4x100 disc of the exact same dimensions as the 5 lug GTS disc? I chose to solve that problem by placing a call to a brake component manufacturer I do business with. They said it would be no problem to drill a GTS disc in a 4x100 pattern. Is that great or what?

    Whadaya guys think?

I asked just this question a few days ago. You have confirmed that the 4lug wheel carrier fits the bolt pattern for the axel carrier on the GTS? If so, my running theory is that a rear disc from an AE92 will be the answer to both our problems.

I have indeed confirmed that the hubs are the same. Axel x/lugs is the piece that is different. I'd be interested in knowing whether that AE92 disc works. I'm still going custom since I need them drilled, but I'd like to know how things turn out on your end of things.
