Should the corner lights on the 86-87 Celica be clear or opaque? Dunno if mine are just aged but they're not clear like on my 89GTS.
I went to the auto wrecker and bought the face lift grill and corners. It took some minor modification, but it was worth it. By the way, if you do this you will need to use the pre facelift bulb sockets or it will flash very quickly.
New corners are clear, not opaque. If you polish old ones with a plastic polish, they will go clear again. You just need to remove the oxidation.
Plastic-Glo (Ultra Fine, Dry Grade) They do make polishes for plastic. I get alot of my buffing/polishing supplies from Caswell. Its also a dealer for POR-15.
Plast-x is one.... too... I find if you wet-sand with a very fine grit, then polish with a regular clear coat polish for your car, it brings the shine right back.... I did that to the escort's plastic headlights and they went from yellow to crystal clear....
hey just wonering is any one interested in the jdm corner lights with the clear up top and dark orange down the bottom that we get over here in australia?

remember guys there is a difference in JDM and EDM and USDM corners. then there is pre and post face lift the same goes for the tails but the ADM market gets a special tail vent.
