Hey everyone I would like to know worn engine or cross member bushing/ or both can cause axle wear?? because I bought new axles about 3 mouths ago and now when I make a sharp or U turn my right axle startes to make clucking sound kinda like a griding sound. I finally got some money and I bought the speedsorce cross member bushings and the poly engine mounts. And is there any way I can fix my axle I looked under my car and the boot torn Just like when I first boungh the car??? syduck thanks.
what idd you buy? NEW aftermarket axles are junk. chinese steel that shares litttle in common with the OEM units other than dimentions. REMAN axles are generally fine, there are exceptions. the mounts can increase the wear but not that much.
Have one custom made? FWIW....I bought some hybrid axles off a guy somewhere (one of the Celica forums) and ended up sheering one of the axles off at the axle nut. I bought axles off RockAuto and had them in Jasmine and never had a problem since then.
