exhaust making a lot of little pops and i checked the plugs and they were white/grey all over so its running too hot. ive checked for vacuum leaks everywhere but cant find any! just recently replaced my maf with a new one from zone cause my old one went bad. plug wires/cap is good. the only thing i can think of is when my maf went bad possible it was killing my plugs and now i need new ones? dunno..but i need to get my car in tip top shape because i have a big drive coming up in about a week and a half

You should reset your ECU if you have a new AFM.
NGK plugs aren't that expensive, get a new set.

You might check with Autozone again to make sure they gave you the right one.... Stranger things have happened.... Their part # should be 74-20014 according to the website....

well try a new denso o2 sensor and change the plugs out for new ones. report back in 100 miles! i think the AFM you have is the issue but i'll humor making sure it isn't.
