I thought about tryin' to fit mine inside a big u-Haul truck, but I noticed a guy that had a big car hauler, and he said he'd do it for $75.00. If I were you, put an ad on Craigslist or find someone with a car dolly/hauler that wouldn't mind a quick haul.

If all else fails...personally...crazy me...i'd just get a couple tow straps and pull! I've done that before with my ex-wives new Chevy Aveo when my old 89' Celica blew up...driving on the freeway at 60-70mph (in the middle of the night of course). hehe

Yeah, IDK in California, but here in Washington State, it's like around $75-$90 if you cant get one from United Rentals. But if you get one from U-Haul, you have to rent one of their trucks to haul their dolly. It all adds up, stupid expensive. Plus, I was thinkin' in California, the rush hour traffic would slow you down to about 3mph. Haha!

not too sure about towing the car though. got any friends with a truck? maybe they can get the hitch that just attaches to the front wheels or what not. san diego is a couple hrs away from you too right? man, only if you were in sac or if i were in LA with you man. i'd hella help you out bro. im a good 8hr drive away from you though. :D

I say find a friend with a truck and rent a uhaul dolly or trailer. That's what I did, and for a 200 mile trip it cost me $180 for the car hauler trailer and insurance...In general you don't have to rent the truck to rent the trailer with uhaul. But you do with some of the others...

I'd hauled my old '86 many a time with tow straps...including through down town traffic. But I wouldn't suggest it for what you're thinking...

I like the idea that Stig posted on the Africans towing a truck. Whatever works...a lil' duct tape and some rope...good to go! Haha!

duct tape= where would we be with out it? from shutting up your annoying sibling to fixing little cracks (lol) there is nothing you cant do. if you cant fix it with duct tape, it isnt worth fixing.
